
MAHARASHTRA COMMON ENTRANCE TEST
MH CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) also known as MHT CET is a state level entrance exam which will be conducted by the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
The exam will be conducted for admission to 4-year Undergraduate Degree courses in the field of Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy, and Agriculture.
The selected candidates will get admission into various government & private institutions across the Maharashtra state.

Physics: Motion in a plane, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Thermal properties of matter, Sound, Optics, Electrostatics, Semiconductors.
Chemistry: Structure of atom, Chemical Bonding, Redox reactions, Elements of group, State of Matter, Absorption and Colloids, Hydrocarbons, Basic Principle of organic chemistry.
Mathematics: Trigonometric II, Straight Line, Circle, Measures of Description, Probability, Complex Numbers, Permutations and Combination, Functions, Limits, Continuity.
Biology: Biomolecules, Respiration and Energy Transfer, Human Nutrition, Excretion and Osmoregulation.
Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted through online mode or offline mode. (To be decided later).
Duration: The duration of the exam will be 3 hours for PCB & PCM group.
Type of Question: The paper will contain Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type questions.
Marks: Each paper will contain 100 marks in the exam.
Total Question: There will be a total of 50 questions for each paper.
Marking Scheme: +1 mark will be given for Physics, Chemistry & Biology and +2 marks will be given for Mathematics.
Negative Marking: There will be NO negative marking in the paper.
